Below are examples of ways in which instructors have integrated each approach into their course. The examples are taken from the two resources:  Classroom Assessment Techniques: A Handbook for College Teachers by Angelo and K. Patricia Cross, and Collaborative Learning Techniques: A Handbook for College Faculty by Elizabeth F. Barkley, Claire Howell Major, and K. Patricia Cross. The examples include a  variety of disciplines, class size, and delivery formats (online, blended, and traditional lecture). They are organized using the structure used within the guide: Analysis and Critical Thinking, Discussion, Prior Knowledge, Problem-Solving, Writing, and Small Teaching.
